A Howard Miller Ashley grandfather clock. A classic style clock with an Oak Yorkshire finish on oak and other select hardwoods and veneers.The case features a curved and softly arched bonnet with an embossed scrollwork design, reeded side columns and glass side panels. Other features of the clock include a glass front door that displays a polished brass dial with a hammered design and a silver tone chapter ring with black Roman numerals and serpentine hands. The dial is accented with raised brass spandrels and a silvertone Tempus Fugit emblem above. The clock has a brass pendulum with cylinder style weights, a chain driven Kieninger German movement, Westminister chimes with a chime silence lever and the clock stands on a plinth style base. The clock is marked “Howard Miller” on the face and door.
