A hand-knotted embroidered Baluch wool carpet runner. The rug features a center field of repeating hooked diamond medallions in a palette of indigo blue, carnelian, charcoal and ivory. It is framed within a barber pole striped border and has wide embroidered kilim skirts to opposite ends. The rug is finished with double overcast selvedges and natural wool warp fringe. It is unmarked.
