Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan wool long rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of carnation, sapphire, sky blue, custard, ochre, sepia, pale gray, and taupe. The carnation colored field begins with a diamond pendant medallion enclosed by coordinating spandrels with sapphire, and taupe ground colors. The field throughout features a floral theme with scrolling blooms and palmettes. Framing the field is a sky blue grounded main floral meander border, along with floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
