1948 Turner & Simpson Sterling and Guilloché Enamel Demitasse Spoon Sets

A collection of two vintage six-piece enameled sterling silver demitasse spoon sets by Turner & Simpson of Birmingham, England. The sets feature matching designs with machine patterned sterling overlaid with enamel to the undersides of the bowls and both sides of the handles; one set is enameled in pale gold and the other is in light blue. Each spoon is hallmarked to its bowl and additionally marked with a Birmingham anchor city mark, a passant sterling fineness mark, and a letter ‘Y’ 1948 date mark. These pieces have a total approximate weight of 4.625 ozt, inclusive of all materials, and are presented in their original cases.
