Chinese Carved Wood Entertainment Armoire

Item Details

A Chinese carved wood entertainment armoire. This rectangular top cabinet with conforming case features two cabinet doors with carved, raised panels opening to a shelf and a pierced back panel. The lower base features three aligned drawers above two open work cabinet doors. This piece features pierced spandrels and rises on straight legs terminating on hoof feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- rough cut to back panel; nicks, scratches, and scuffs throughout; discoloration to finish; dust present.
