Item Details
A hand-knotted Kurdish wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, sapphire, sand, cobalt, walnut, and aqua. The crimson colored field begins with a large rectilinear medallion infilled with flower filled vases, and rosettes, along with similar motifs throughout. Framing the field is a cobalt grounded floral meander border, as well as meandering guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
