A set of 1992 raised oil paintings with impasto by artist Chester Lewis (1923-2010). Chester Lewis also worked under different names such as ‘Perez,’ ‘Lewis Perez,’ and ‘Louis Perez’ from the 1970’s through the 21st century. He is known for landscape paintings featuring three dimensional or raised folliage with vibrant textures.
These paintings depict robust trees with Spanish moss along a swamp shore. They are signed to the lower left and lower right and are set in two wooden frames with metal accents. The paintings include oil certification labels and inscriptions to the verso.
