Antique French Louis XV Style Walnut Armoire

Item Details

An antique Louis XV style walnut armoire. This French made piece is constructed from walnut and features an arched pediment having gilded scrolling acanthus leaves and flowers. Below are double doors with brass hardware, applied carved and gilded borders with acanthus leaf borders and center medallions. The doors open to reveal an open storage compartment (no shelves). The armoire has a serpentine base apron with carved accents, and sits upon short cabriole legs. Per consignor the armoire was purchased from renowned Baton Rouge antique dealer Inessa Stewart.
