A lithographic promotional poster titled Harlem on my Mind: The Cultural Capital of Black America 1900-1968 designed by Reynold Ruffins (American; b. 1930) for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, dated 1969. This piece depicts a geometric ‘Harlem’ to the upper margin with a black and white rendering of historical and significant images from African American history. The artist’s signature is present in plate to the lower left corner and the piece is presented as loose work.

Condition

- to poor; heavy toning to paper; creasing and surface wear to image of poster; pinholes to corners of poster due to hanging; rip to upper left edge of paper; poster tends to roll; crease through middle of poster.
