Item Details
A hand-knotted Afghani Kazak wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a variegated palette of crimson, yellow, greens and blues. The field features three large palmette forms, along with smaller palmettes and rosettes. Framing the field is a main diagonal striped border, with a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a decoratively knotted wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Genuine Hand Woven Oriental Rug’.
