Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Sarouk wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of scarlet, indigo, blues, taupe and sage. The field has a central bloom, featuring a dense floral and foliate design including sprays and curled leaves. Framing the field is a main indigo grounded floral meander border, as well as a carnation meander guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends with added reinforcing stitches. It is labeled ‘Genuine Handwoven Oriental Rug’.
