Vintage Hand-Knotted Turkish Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Turkish wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a variegated palette of burgundy, ivory, indigo, greensand ochre. The field has a large floral pendant medallion enclosed by layered spandrels, along with flowering vine-work throughout. Framing the field is a floral meander border, and a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Turkey’.
