Item Details
An antique French carriage clock for Bailey Banks & Biddle Co. This clock has a beveled glass and brass case, featuring a turned style finials, a top handle, and bun feet. The rectangular porcelain face displays black Arabic number in white medallions, spade tipped hands, and a dotted chapter ring. It is marked ‘France’, ‘Bailey Banks & Biddle Co’, and ‘Philadelphia’. The mechanism is marked ‘Made in France’, ‘Dulverdry &’, ‘11 Eleven’, along with other unreadable marks to the interior base, and ‘285’ to the door.
