Custom Round Dining Table with Hollow Tree Trunk Barrel of Prohibition Interest
Item Details
A custom round dining table with a hollow tree trunk barrel of prohibition interest. The table features a round, glass top supported by a hollowed out tree trunk barrel with an open top and bottom.
According to the consignor, the barrel was used on a Louisville, Kentucky farm to hold moonshine during Prohibition. It was later discovered and re-purposed by well-known interior designer, Scott Tichenor, who had the barrel cut down and refinished before adding the glass top. The table can comfortably seat ten people.
