An oil on masonite landscape painting by Athens, Ohio artist L.C. ‘Pappy’ Mitchell. Mitchell was a local artist as well as an art instructor at Ohio University. The artist name is inscribed in the lower right corner of the painting along with the number 1250. This information is repeated in marker on the back of the masonite board.
