An antique sterling silver presentation bowl by the Shreve, Crump & Low Company, North America’s oldest luxury goods retailer, established in Boston, Massachusetts in 1796. The bowl features a pierced floral patterned rim with scrolling flourishes around its monogrammed central well. It is hallmarked to its underside and additionally marked with a ‘Sterling’ fineness mark and a personalized message that reads, ‘From C. To S., Oct. 9, 1900’. This piece has an approximate weight of 33.550 ozt.
