First Millenia Roman Amphora on Custom Iron Stand, Encrusted

Item Details

An ancient first Millenia Roman amphora on stand, presented as found, encrusted from prolonged ocean exposure. The ancient earthenware vessel is elongated from a tapered point to a subtly flared mouth. Similar Roman vessels used for transporting goods have been salvaged along trade routes from Britain to North Africa. The amphora is presented on a custom made black iron stand.

- stand shows oxidation and accretion.
