Tom Sternal Modern Handcrafted Live Edge Table

A contemporary live edge table by American artist and craftsman Tom Sternal (1943-2015). The finely handcrafted table features a freeform abstract top comprised of two thick slabs from the forests of the Appalacian Mountains in western, North Carolina where Sternal made his home in the decades prior to his death. The slabs are connected with bowtie joinery and rest on splayed, sawhorse style legs. The table is unmarked.
