Item Details

A Jacobean Revival walnut and caned open armchair, late 19th/early 20th century. The frame features a carved crestrail and lower chair apron, both featuring a Medieval type motif depicting individuals holding a crown. Barley twist stiles are accented with carved rosette blocks, and continue along the legs and stretcher. The chair includes an oval cane back and square cane seat.
