A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, black, ivory, pale gray, mocha, apricot, and sand. The ivory field has a large black lozenge featuring a star pendant medallion, along with rectilinear vine-work. Framing the field is a main crimson unresolved stylized herati border, and a meandering guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
