A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Zanjan rug. The scarlet red field of the rug is decorated with geometric and foliage forms in shades of sage, rose, scarlet, ivory, and black. The field is surrounded by meandering vine and running water borders. The rug is finished with cotton warp fringe ends.
