Mid Century Modern Walnut Dining Chair Set

A set of five Mid Century Modern dining chairs by Republic Furniture Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. These walnut pieces have veneered backrests with angled sides raised on block stiles with a crosspiece set high, near the rest. The seats are upholstered in red material, and the tapered block legs are connected by an H stretcher. One chair has armrests even with the crosspiece, which have a short, straight drop to the backward-curved supports.
