A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of denim, crimson, ivory, burnt orange, powder blue, celadon, and saffron. The denim hued field begins with a diamond pendant medallion enclosed by coordinating crimson grounded spandrels. The field also features an array of floral sprays, palmettes, and leaves throughout. Framing the field is a main crimson grounded floral and medallion designed border, along with a series of floral guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
