A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of carnation, indigo, sky blue, fern, scarlet, ivory, pale yellow, mocha, and sage. The carnation hued field begins with a pole of eight round floral themed medallions ending in small pendants, while featuring a dense herati design throughout, along with ivory grounded spandrels infilled with flowers. Framing the field is a sky blue grounded leaf and blossom border, as well as sawtooth guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
