A first American edition of the classic cocktail guide The Savoy Cocktail Book, by Harry Craddock, an American expatriate bartender at the Savoy Hotel in London. This is the first American edition, published in 1930 by Richard R. Smith of New York. It was issued simultaneously with the first British edition, but the American version is rarer due to Prohibition in America at the time. Bound with illustrated Art Deco style boards.
