Early 20th Century Hobbyist Painted German Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
An assortment of antique to vintage German porcelain tableware including a covered sugar bowl, creamer pitcher, six cups, seven saucers, one dinner plate, twelve smaller plates, and a handled serving tray. The hobbyist painted pieces feature complimentary poppy patterns with bright red flowers to the mottled pale yellow and blue ground ending in gilt trim. One plate is marked ‘Favorite Bavaria’ while the creamer and sugar pair bear Jaeger & Co. maker’s marks used between 1898-1923.
