A signed limited edition offset lithograph by listed English artist Alan Maley (1931-1995) titled Winter Carousel. This work depicts a women and child, dressed in period clothing of the 1800s, conversing the opportunity to ride the snow covered carousel. The work is numbered 17 in an edition of 750. It is titled centrally under the image, and signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right margin. It is also signed and dated ‘91 in plate to the lower right. The print is mounted beneath dual layers of matting and is presented behind glass in a wood frame. Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the verso.
Maley worked as a figure painter and set painter for Disney films, receiving an Oscar for his visual effects work in ’Bedknobs and Broomsticks’.
