Art Deco Russel Wright "Pancake and Corn" Set for Chase

A chromed metal and glass Pancake and Corn table set, by designer Russel Wright for Chase. Included is a circular blue glass tray, watering can style syrup pitcher, sugar shaker, and salt and pepper shakers. Marked for Chase to the underside. It was item number 28003 in the Chase catalogue of 1935 and described as, ‘This amusing four-piece set by Russel Wright will add sparkle and colour to any table setting.’ The thought behind the original design was that the set could be used with pancakes or corn.
