Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Mehriban wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a slight abrash palette of scarlet, indigo, custard, powder blue, saffron, cranberry, rose, mocha, and sage. The scarlet hued field begins with a central bloom with radiating floral sprays enclosed by mirroring sprays and bouquets to the ends. Framing the field are floral meander borders including a main indigo grounded one. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a kilim skirt with a bound end, along with the remains of a warp fringe cropped and bound.
