Chippendale Style Damask Wing Chair by Hickory Chair Furniture Company
Item Details
A Chippendale style damask wing chair by the Hickory Chair Furniture Company. It has exaggerated wings to either side of the arched back continuing to rolled armrests. It is upholstered in red damask fabric and rises on square, molded legs in the front joined by stretchers to the raking, back legs. The seat platform retains a tag reading ‘Hickory Chair / Fine Furniture Since 1911 / Hickory, N.C.’ There is a second manufacturer’s label on the underside of the seat.
