A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of magenta, violet, ochre, aqua, apricot, olive, walnut, stone, fern, and black. The magenta hued field begins with a scalloped pendant medallion enclosed by ochre grounded spandrels, while featuring an allover floral theme with sprays and blooms throughout. Framing the field is a main violet grounded floral meander border, along with stylized carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
