A hand-knotted Sino-Persian wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, powder blue, cobalt, clementine, emerald, cornsilk, silver, and black. The ivory colored field begins with a colorful pendant medallion, enclosed by powder blue grounded spandrels. The field also features flowering and leafy purling vine-work throughout. Framing the field is a main powder blue grounded meandering curled leaf border, along with coordinating guard borders with a clementine ground. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled
