A hand-knotted Indo-Persian round wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a variegated palette of ivory, wheat, olive, gold, indigo, wine, slate blue, and burnt orange. The ivory colored field features an allover lattice design of vine-work with palmette, floral, and leaf motifs. Framing the field is a main wheat grounded stylized herati border, as well as floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton fringe to the edge. This rug is unlabeled.
