A machine-woven Couristan Kashimar Collection red Kerman wool area rug. The rug is grounded in red with four central medallions surrounded by an overall floral design and corner spandrels in shades of off white, light beige, indigo blue and light blue. The rug has a complex border with a major border grounded in off white with medallions and floral patterning, flanked by indigo blue floral guard stripes. The rug has an off white warp selvedge border with hand tied fringe to both ends. A maker’s tag is affixed to the verso.
