A circa 1920 hand-knotted Turkish Oushak room size rug. The rug features a carmine colored field with intricate patterns of arabesque vines, large scale palmettes, and colorful lancet leaves. The field is ringed by meandering vine minor borders and a stylized dog’s tooth principal border. Either end of the rug is finished with natural warp fringe.
