Item Details

A handwoven Turkish Azerbaijani wool kilim. This flat woven area rug is rendered in a bold palette of cranberry, tangerine, clementine, gold, cornflower, sand, and ivory. It commences with a pair of concentric diamond medallions, infilled with geometric shapes and flanked with boat shaped pendants. Framing the field is a wide ivory border displaying boxed medallions with crenellated edges. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
