An original watercolor painting on paper by well-listed American genre painter Rober Fabe (1917-2004). The image depicts a fishing boat dry docked on a beach. Artist signature is to the lower right. This work is mounted behind a cream mats, under glass in a wood frame with a gray finish. Sticker from artist’s studio is present on verso of frame. Fabe’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum; Miami University; University of Cincinnati; Dayton Art Institute; and the Butler Art Institute, as well as many reputed corporate collections.

Condition

- to fair.
- frame has scratches and areas of loss and mat is yellowed. Piece would benefit from reframing.
- watercolor is darkened from age but otherwise in good condition.
