Vintage Military Books Featuring Manuals from the War Department

A collection of seven vintage military books and two classroom exercises featuring manuals from the War Department. The books have publication dates ranging from 1943 to 1951.

The earliest book is the FM 5-31 War Department Field Manual entitled Land Mines and Booby Traps issued to the Corps of Engineers and published by the War Department November 1, 1943.

Next is the FM 7-10 Ward Department Field Manual entitled Rifle Company Infantry Regiment issued to the Infantry and published by the War Department March 18, 1944.

Also published in March 1944 is the FT 155-S-2 Firing Tables for Gun 155-MM, M1 and M1A1 firing Shell, H.E., M101 Shell, Chemical M104.

Then there is the FM 24-17 Department of the Army Field Manual entitled Communication Center Operation published by the Department of the Army in September 1949.

Next is The Armed Forces Officer published by the Department of Defense in 1950.

Finally, there is the TM 9-840 Department of the Army Technical Manual for the 3/4 ton 4×4 cargo truck M37, Utility Truck M42, Ambulance Truck M43, and telephone installation light maintenance and cable splicing truck V-41 ( )/GT (Dodge) published by the Department of the Army in January 1951.
