A vintage hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool area carpet. The rug features a large ornately decorated central medallion with floral ogee pendants to each end in a palette of crimson, navy, ochre, brown, azure blue, and cream on a rectangular navy field accented with large spandrels to the corners. The center field is wrapped with a primary floral border and narrow guard borders and is finished with a natural warp fringe to the ends.
