Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Romanian Persian style prayer saph. The saph, or multi-person prayer rug, features six prayer niche panels with pictorial designs to each in a soft pale palette of peach, tan, wheat, cream, and brown. The center panels are flanked by a primary border populated with Tabriz style deer figures and birds in a complementary palette. The rug has a natural warp fringed edge and is unmarked.
