A vintage hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz wool area carpet. The rug has a center star-shaped floral medallion on a large bright blue-green field populated with palmettes, blossoms, and Arabesque vines in a palette of navy, tan, cream, ochre, and camel. The center rectangular field is wrapped by light blue secondary borders and a navy primary border of repeating palmettes and scrolls. The ends are finished with overcast edges and short knotted warp fringe.
