A set of sterling silver flatware from Tiffany & Co. in the King William pattern, first introduced in 1870. The pattern features unadorned rounded and tapered handles with downward shaped handles to the knives. The set includes fourteen five-piece place settings with each setting have a dinner knife with a new French pistol grip and a stainless steel blade, a salad fork, a dinner fork, a butter spreader with a stainless steel blade, and a teaspoon. Also included in the collection are nine bullion spoons. The pieces are marked ‘Tiffany & Co. Sterling’ to the handles and have ‘Tiffany & Co.’ engraved to the blades. The total weight of the set, exclusive of knives, is 89.265 ozt. Included with the set are dust bags and original Tiffany & Co. boxes.
