A vintage hand-knotted Persian archaeological Kashmir room sized rug. This wool rug features a floral central medallion in cream, indigo, gold, sage, indigo and rose on a merlot field with modified lattice pattern lozenge surrounded by vessel, urn and animals. This rug has compound spandrels, guard borders and minor borders in a coordinating color scheme and a principal border in indigo with floral and animal figures. The rug ends in a short white fringe and is unmarked.
