A signed limited edition agamograph on acrylic titled Courb 3-4 by well-listed artist Yaacov Agam (Israeli, b. 1928). The abstract work generates an optical illusion that reveals colorful geometric patterns as it is viewed from different angles. The print is signed to the lower right and is numbered 91/99 to the lower left. It is presented in a small white frame set with clear acrylic into a larger white frame.

Sometimes called the ‘Father of Kinetic Art,’ Yaacov Agam was born in 1928 in what was then Rishon le Zion, Palestine (now Israel). Agam studied art at the New Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts and is best known as the inventor of the agamograph. Agam’s pieces can be found in private collections around the world and can be viewed at both the Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. In 2017, The Yaacov Agam Museum of Art was opened in Rishon LeZion, Israel.
