A 1935 Machine Age table lamp by Walter Von Nessen for Pattyn Products. This rare Art Deco table lamp was designed by the prolific industrial designer Walter Von Nessen (Swedish, 1900 – 1975) in Futurist styling in the height of the Machine Age. The lamp features a stepped base design in solid aluminum, which is incised and painted in carmine red and black along the base. The shade is constructed from horizontal rings of aluminum supported by three vertical rods which are finished with threaded metal hardware with a stepped design.
