A hand-knotted Pakistani Kazak Bokhara carpet runner. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of deep rose, indigo, goldenrod, ivory, powder blue, and camel. It features an infinity pattern beginning with five starburst medallions arranged vertically over a deep rose colored field. Each medallion encloses a gul with out-pointing arrows amid abstract motifs. Framing the field is an unresolved major border featuring alternating boxed florets and geometric Shirvan-style bracket motifs. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with ivory cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
