Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Mashayekhi wool area rug. The red, lozenge shaped field of the rug displays a central medallion with flanking pendants and spandrels. Each aspect of the field is decorated with Herati patterns. The field is surrounded by carnation minor borders and a Herati patterned principal border. Either end of the rug is finished with cotton warp fringe ends.
