Vintage Hand-Woven South American "Tree of Life" Rug
Item Details
A vintage signed handwoven South American Tree of Life rug with oranges and white ibis. The rug has a large central orange tree growing from one end of the rug to the other against a background of green, navy blue and light blue. There are white ibis birds standing on the ground around the base of the tree and more birds flying above. The rug is signed in white in the bottom corner to the right of the tree trunk. It has a natural warp fringe and hand overcast selvedges.
