A collection of three antique bone and mother of pearl folding fans with hand-painted silk and cotton leaves. Included is a fan with gilt accented pierced mother of pearl sticks featuring a courting scene with flowers, urns and laurel designs and gold tone sequin embellishments to the leaves; with decoration to the back as well. Also, a fan with gilt and tan painted bone sticks with floral pierced construction; with sequins and mesh to the leaves, featuring a hand-painted courting scene, signed ‘M. Verdetti’. A cream fan with gold tone and silver tone sequins decorating the leaves, with gilt accented bone sticks.
