Hand-Knotted Persian Kerman Wool Long Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool long rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, carnation, sky blue, magenta, chartreuse, camel, and walnut. The ornate ivory colored field begins with a central floral medallion flanked by flower filled vases to each end, and surrounded by sprays. Framing the field is a crenelated main border overpopulated with scrolling foliate motifs, and cartouches infilled with arrangements. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and an applied fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
